Class 1 w/c 13th July

It’s our last week of the school year and it has been a very different year to usual. We have certainly missed being with you but we’ve also been very impressed with how hard you’ve all worked and we’ve loved getting your messages and photographs.

Normally, at the end of this week we would watch a video together – perhaps you can do that as a family. Pick a film that everyone can enjoy, possibly an old favourite. Musicals are always fun, expecially if you can sing along.

There are lots of ideas on your worksheets for activities this week and for revision. Some things are so important they would be good to keep thinking about them through the holidays. Like number bonds – this video is a great way for remembering your number bonds.

Older children will be thinking and writing about meerkats this week, but we can all enjoy this little clip of meerkats in the wild.

I just want to say a huge WELL DONE to each and every one of you for your hard work during these strange times. I am so proud of you all for everything that you have achieved. It has not been easy but you have all risen to the challenges brilliantly. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Take care, stay safe and keep smiling.

Lots of love,

Mrs Nowell
